Tips For Bubbling

Ready to be a star? Here are Ten Tips for getting your voice heard through the exciting world of bubbling.

  1. Post Updates (almost) Every Day. Like writing a blog, it's important to keep your audience interested by keeping at it and being regular.
  2. Keep Updates Short No one likes a rambling message, so be pithy and to the point.
  3. Be an Authority. Pick a topic and own it. It could be your life and observations, maybe the stock market, your favorite team, recipe of the day, haiku, pop music whatever. Just pick something and OWN IT.
  4. Use Emotion. You don't have to cry or anything, but take advantage of your voice to convey how you're feeling as much as what you have to say.
  5. Find Your Voice. Be un-boring. Because people can't see you, it's important that you project your voice to accentuate your personality when voice-blogging.
  6. Ask For Feedback. Once you have an audience, get them involved and ask them to message you with their feedback. They can bubble you back, which is really fun.
  7. Promote Yourself Shamelessly. Don't be shy. Let it be known that you're bubbling. Use your Facebook status, Twitter, email your friends, and invite them by phone to follow you.
  8. Follow Others, Too. You'll get good ideas and learn what to do (and what not to do) to sound great and build your audience.
  9. Be Yourself. Don't be a phony. People will be able to tell if you're trying too hard. Just be yourself, and do it authentically.
  10. Have fun! No one wants to follow you if you're not having a good time. Mix it up, and keep your followers guessing!
